Terms of Use

These terms cover quotes and visits arranged with OptiDrive Remapping & Diagnostics.

Quotes

A price discussed by phone or message is for the vehicle and the job described. If the scan shows a different fault, the price is agreed again before work starts. The website quote form does not place an order.

Visits

We travel to the postcode agreed. The vehicle needs to be accessible, with enough power and space to connect diagnostic equipment safely. If the job needs a ramp, we will say so and will not pretend to finish it in a car park.

Software warranty

ECU software we write carries a 12-month warranty against a defect in that file. It does not cover later mechanical failure, fuel, or parts that were already worn. The original file is saved before a write.

Emissions software

AdBlue, DPF, and EGR software that switches a system off is for off-road and non-public-road use only. Booking that work means you have been told that limit.

Speed limiters

A limiter is changed only when the vehicle’s duty allows it. We can refuse the job after hearing the registration and the use.
